An oldie but a goodie, this Monument Avenue Park area property is dear to our hearts. There's a lot of neighborhood history here, especially for folks who remember it decaying on its prominent corner at Blacker. With out-of-town owners who may have just lost track of the property, it was an eyesore. From critters to crawlies, the house was a haven for everything except humans. But it had something great going for it - a concrete slab. That was the foundation on which we restored this home. Like its sister property also on Radford, it's still sporting that lemon yellow exterior we love. While perhaps not everyone loves yellow, we stand firm on this.
